Emma Spencer

Emma Spencer is one of the glamorous faces of Channel 4's Racing coverage, having joined the team in 2001, and in recent years as one of their lead presenters for the flat racing coverage. She presents every weekend from courses around the UK and also anchors coverage from Paris, South Africa, Ireland, Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, India and Dubai.

Emma presents horse racing from all the big meetings across the jumps and the flat racing season. She also broadcasts from all the major festivals including the Derby, Royal Ascot and Glorious Goodwood plus a feast of international contest such as the Dubai World, the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe, the Melbourne Cup and the best of racing from India.

Emma has been the face of Hildon Natural Mineral Water, 888 Sport, Ladbrokes, an ambassador at Royal Windsor Racecourse and hosts regularly at Royal Ascot. She is twice champion amateur flat jockey and still rides on occasion, such as the celebrity race at Glorious Goodwood. Daughter of former trainer Lynda Ramsden, Emma has been around the horse-racing scene all her life and is renowned for her sense of style – she often hosts Ladies' Days around the UK and enjoys designing clothes herself. She was previously married to champion jockey Jamie Spencer.

Emma is a regular contributor on The Morning Line, on TalkSPORT, BBC Radio 5 Live and was runner-up on a “Come Dine With Me” Grand National special.

Emma Spencer is a very personable, experienced and popular presenter and public speaker. She has hosted numerous corporate events - including a number outside of the racing world - such as corporate award ceremonies, gala charity dinner, Q&A panels, breakfast meetings and fashion awards.

Emma is an excellent host and MC at race days, visiting hospitality boxes, previewing the racing, running through the race cards, providing the latest news, information, predictions and betting odds.
