Ian Dunt is a political analyst and commentator who started his journalism career with PinkNews, before moving to political analysis for Yahoo! He is a columnist for the i newspaper, host of the Origin Story podcast, and the former editor of Politics.co.uk.
In 2017, Ian was part of the team that launched Remainiacs, a political podcast about Britain's departure from the European Union, as seen from a pro-Remain perspective. In October 2020, Remainiacs was renamed Oh God, What Now?
As a writer his books include How Westminster Works… and Why It Doesn’t, How To Be A Liberal, and Brexit: What The Hell Happens Now. A contributor to the Guardian and the Washington Post, he is also a regular pundit on TV and radio shows, including Any Questions, Newsnight, and Sky’s Newspaper Review.
