GASTRONAUGHT SHOW
Stefan’s famous Gastronaut science and food shows for 100-2,000 are simply unforgettable.
As well as the sheer excitement of a BBC TV star on stage, the shows are packed full of inspiring, explosive science, and wild food adventures. They are renowned for their energy and interactivity - Stefan headlines stadium-style shows at the Big Bang Fair (UK’s biggest science fair), major science and food festivals and also visits schools across the UK. Every show is a mix of solid education and brilliant entertainment to inspire fascination with science and adventurous, healthier eating. Stefan’s always happy to hang out for an hour afterwards for photos, to chat with students and sign autographs or books. And every show comes with a brilliant showpack of food adventure tools, books and practical experiments.
Stefan performs custard-powder flamethrowing, corn biofuel explosions and rockets, fries an egg on a piece of paper, conducts a vegetable orchestra and if you’re lucky you’ll get to try his insects, jellyfish salad and bum sandwiches.
The shows are for adults and kids alike and are specifically designed to blow apart the preconceptions that people have about food, to make people think again about what they put in their mouths and to encourage them to become more adventurous eaters. They are funny, outrageous and fascinating but with a solid basis of food chemistry, sustainability and nutrition.
His enthusiasm is truly infectious! Explosive, educational entertainment fully engaging the audience and he's an absolute pleasure to work with.
Stefan has been hugely popular at The Cheltenham Science Festival. His show has sold out two years in a row! Full of food, fun, science and brilliance!

Stefan's shows were perfect for Manchester Science Festival. Loads of weird and wonderful cooking, fun, science and education! They attracted a huge crowd and Stefan's fans were blown away (not literally thank goodness!) by the chemistry in the food, great stories and quirky edible delights.
