The Kitts Project

The Kitts Project is a unique DJ and live vocals experience which combines The Kitts Band's singers, guitar & horn section with a live house DJ playing very high-octane thumping remixes of the biggest party hits from the '70s to present day anthems.

With a killer vibe, The Kitts Project can be booked as as standalone act up to 90-minutes or, as more often the case, they can follow The Kitts Band as a 'climax' at the end of a Kitts Band performance whereby the DJ comes on for the last half hour of a Kitts Band show, for example, to really raise the roof.

The show can be augmented with a range of first class Kitts instrumentalists and also the Kitts dancers who perform slick choreographed routines tailored to the Kitts Project's remixes.

The set comprises live remixes of retro classics from the seventies through to the huge pop anthems dominating today's charts.

A Kitts Project performance is a seamless string of mega-hits fused by dramatic live enhancements and re-inventions by the musicians and technology on stage.

The Kitts Project is all run through a cutting edge multitrack system to provide total flexibility in the live vs track balance: starting with DJ plus the three Kitts band singers, with the option of then adding live guitar and percussion; dancers, bass, keyboards, brass and even a string section.

Both The Kitts Band and Kitts Project set lists are a compendium of the funkiest ever dance floor hits, from massive current chart anthems through to the soul & motown classics of the 70s & 80s, and everything in between.

A typical set will move from funky soul & Motown (e.g. Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Michael Jackson) through disco and pop classics (e.g. Tina Turner, Prince) to current and recent chart toppers (e.g. Beyoncé, Bruno Mars, Rihanna) – guaranteed to pack out dance floors from beginning to end!’
