Roman Kemp is one of the country’s most promising broadcasters and presenters having worked on The One Show, Capital Radio and The Brit Awards.
From 2017-2024, he hosted Capital FM’s breakfast show, having previously had his own successful evening daily show and mid-morning Sunday slot. He has interviewed some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry, including the likes of Justin Bieber, Calvin Harris, Ariana Grande and Ed Sheeran.
In 2019, Roman made the final of I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here. Before this, he was announced as part of The X Factor presenting team and went on to present his own segment on the live Xtra Factor ITV2 show. He’s since gone on to present the TV Baftas, countless film premiers and hosted The Global Awards for three years running.
In 2020, Roman and his dad Martin hosted their ITV morning show Sunday Best which returned in 2021 as Weekend Best, for both Saturday and Sunday mornings. The duo have also appeared in Celebrity Gogglebox since 2019.
In 2021, Roman announced his most important project yet, presenting his own BBC One documentary Roman Kemp: Our Silent Emergency, exploring the mental health and suicide crisis affecting young men.
In 2023, Roman also presented Roman Kemp: The Fight for Young Lives, exploring potential solutions for improving the mental health of young people in the UK.
In 2022, Roman became a regular presenter for BBC’s The One Show and hosted the BBC coverage for the Platinum Party at the Palace.
His other works include voicing the UK series and the Global series of Takeshi’s Castle and appearing on BBC1’s Michael McIntyre The Wheel, Would I Lie To You and Celebrity Juice. Roman has also collaborated with top brands and charities such as; Sport Relief, EE, Cadburys, Absolut and Coca Cola.
In addition to his documentaries exploring the subject of mental health, in 2022, Roman wrote his debut book Are You Really Ok?
In 2024, Roman once again teamed up with his dad and launched the comedy podcast FFS! My Dad is Martin Kemp.
